Polymer nanocomposites made of nanoparticles of barium sulfate and polyacetal
(polyoxymethylene, POM) were produced in the melt. The barium sulfate was
synthesized to produce particles of various shapes, namely, spheres, fibers and
toroidal or donut-like aggregates. |
