Jiang Liang, Male, PhD in Engineering, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Polymer Science and Engineering at Sichuan University (full-time researcher), permanent staff member at the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering (Sichuan University).
Main research areas:
1. Polymeric materials for electronic information applications: key materials for chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) technology in chip manufacturing - polishing pad materials; wearable polyurethane foam ear caps for noise reduction and hearing protection.
2. Functional thermosetting polymer materials: recyclable thermosetting polymers, self-healing polymers, shape memory polymers, etc.
3. Water-based resin synthesis and industrial applications: water-based coatings, water-based laminating adhesives, water-based wood adhesives, etc.
4. Functional phase change energy storage materials: thermochromic phase change materials, thermal insulation phase change materials.
I have led 7 provincial and ministerial-level research projects and applied for 11 invention patents. As corresponding/first author, I have published over 30 SCI papers in mainstream academic journals such as Macromolecules, Small Journal of Materials Chemistry A , Chemical Engineering Journal , Polymer , with nearly 1000 citations.
