Prof. Dr. Lei MIAO received a Ph.D degree from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan, in March 2004. She is working as the professor in Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) since 2007. Dr. Miao won the 100-talents awards from the CAS in 2007, the fellowship of the Japan Society for Promotion Science from 2004 to 2006, and the Student Special award in Innovative Technology organized by Japan Industry Newspaper in 2002. She was appointed as a research fellow of Japan Science Promotion Organization during 2004 and 2005, a research associate professor in Nagoya Inst. Tech. during 2005 and 2006, and a deputy research leader in Japan Fine Ceramics Centre during 2007.
Her current research focuses on low-demisional metal-oxide thermoelectric materials, thermal insulating nanoporous materials, Smart window, etc. Dr. Miao has published over 100 scientific papers, including 87 SCI papers, 103 EI papers. The citation times for the main papers are over 760 times.
