Prof. Yiming Sun visited HUST

2015, invited by Prof. Yang, Prof. Yiming Sun visited HUST and gave a lecture“Bio-synthetic Polyhydroxyalkanoates
(PHAs) and Their Applications”.
Professor Sun has
been dedicated in fundamental research of bio-based polymers and membranes for
years. And he studied the applications of isolation and biomedicine technique
by diffusion phenomenon of small molecular inside polymers.
Professor Sun obtained
his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of
Cincinnati. He established the Institute
of Biotechnology and Bioengineering in Yuan Ze University in 2002 and studied
the Polyhydroxyalkanoates
and their applications. He has published more than 60 papers and with a
citation around 1500, whose h-index is 24.
