中文摘要: 自 然界中微生物種類極為豐富,尺寸涵蓋了納米級與微米級。微生物細(xì)胞培養(yǎng)成本低廉,生長繁殖迅速,具有豐富的遺傳表現(xiàn)型,因此微生物是可用于納米、微米以及 多層次跨尺度加工的天然“基本單元”和“底盤細(xì)胞”。“基于微生物”的生物制造目的是利用微生物的特異結(jié)構(gòu)和多樣功能進(jìn)行仿生和調(diào)控,操縱微生物進(jìn)行加工 組裝,從而獲得新材料、新器件。同時,建立深入研究微生物行為模式的新技術(shù)與新方法,為揭示傳統(tǒng)方法所未涉及的基本科學(xué)問題提供新的平臺。以下將分別從納 米和微米兩個尺度以及利用微生物的結(jié)構(gòu)或功能兩個角度來概述基于微生物的微納米生物制造的前沿進(jìn)展。
英文摘要: Microbe is extremely abundant in nature, and its size has a very wide coverage from nano- to micro-scale making it suitable to be processed at multi-scale level as natural "building blocks" and "chassis cells". Biofabrication based on microbes is an artificial manipulation on microbes to assemble functional materials and devices by using the specific structures and various biological functions of microbes. In the meantime, the novel strategies of biofarication enables us to study the behavioral details of microbes, which will provide new platforms for uncovering the unsolved basic scientific problems of microbes. In this paper, we reviewed the frontier and progress in biofabrication from nano- and micro-scale in microbes that were manipulated as structured "building blocks" or functional "micro/nano robots".
