Xinxing Zhang is the doctor of Engineering, professor of Sichuan University and doctoral supervisor. He was selected into the National High-level Talent Special Support Program Youth Project and he’s a chief expert of the China National Key R&D Program during the 13th Five-year Plan, the outstanding young scientific and technological talents in Sichuan Province, top young talents of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the reserve candidates of Sichuan academic and technical leaders, and a permanent staff member of the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering. His research interests include high performance and functionalization of polymer materials, green recycling and remanufacturing. Presiding over the national key RESEARCH and development program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (5projects), the Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars of Sichuan Province. Furthermore, he has published more than 100 papers in mainstream SCI journals such as Nat. Commun. Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem., Nano Lett., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Sci., Chem. Mater., Mater. Horiz.as corresponding author or first author, which have been cited more than 7000 times by others. In addition, he was awarded the first prize in the Science and Technology Progress Award of China National Light Industry Federation, China Rubber Science and Technology Innovation Award, etc. He is also a Fellow of INTERNATIONAL Advanced Materials Association (IAAM), member of Expert Committee of China Renewable Resource Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, Director of Sichuan Tire Powder Functional and Modification Engineering Laboratory, SusMat, Frontiers in Chemistry, Materials, youth editorial board member and guest editor of Plastics Industry and other journals.
