Themostwidelyusedfiberprocesseswereuptonowfiberspinningandmeltblowing,forwovenandnon-wovenapplicationsrespectively.Electrospinning,whichisprocessthatwasdiscoveredinthe30’s,wasmoreacuriositythananythingelseuntilrecently,whereitismoreandmoreused,inparticularfortheproductionofnanofibres,whichpresentsignificantpotential；forvariousapplications；amongwhichare,sensors,filters,biomedical,functionaltextilesetc.
