Mechanicalpropertiesofheterocyclicaramidfiberarethehighestinthefamilyofthearamidfibers.Preparationofhighmolecularweightpolymerisimportanttoachievethehighperformancefiber.However,itishardtomeasurethemolecularweightofheterocyclicaramidthroughgelpermeationchromatography(GPC).Itisusuallytouseinherentviscosity(ηinh)toreflectthemolecularweightindirectlyinindustry.Inthispaper,rotationalviscosityandfallingsphereviscosityofheterocyclicaramidsolutionweremeasured.Theirvariationwithtemperatureandηinhwasanalyzed.DependingonArrheniusequation,regressionequations(viscosity,temperature,ηinh)wereestablishedbyusingmultielementstepsregressionmethod,andthentheexperienceformulaofviscosity-temperature-ηinhwasobtainedbythisway,whichwasusefulforfiberpreparationofheterocyclicaramid.
