質子交換膜燃料電池(PEMFC)是一種清潔和高效的能量轉換裝置。目前,其商用的貴金屬(主要為Pt)基催化劑面臨穩定性差等重要問題,這主要是因為擔載貴金屬催化劑的碳載體容易發生電化學氧化,導致金屬催化劑顆粒移動、脫落或團聚,致使催化劑的活性降低。本文提出通過限域和錨定作用來提高Pt納米顆粒與載體的相互作用以降低Pt納米微粒運動的自由度,從而達到大幅改善燃料電池催化劑穩定性的目的。

簡介:在所有的非貴金屬催化劑中,摻雜型碳基催化劑因具有優良的氧還原催化活性、高穩定性和抗CO和甲醇中毒能力而吸引了研究者們的廣泛興趣。本論文分別通過原位聚合苯胺、尿素復合聚苯胺及采用生物質為原料,并加入鐵離子得到了催化劑的前驅體,再經過高溫熱處理獲得了一系列具有特殊形貌的氮摻雜納米碳基氧還原催化劑。

博士研究生楊金龍順利通過博士學位論文答辯
2014年5月20日,我組楊金龍同學進行了博士學位論文答辯。答辯委員會主席為華中科技大學黃云輝教授,答辯成員為華中科技大學霍開富教授,武漢理工大學劉韓星教授、潘牧教授和麥立強教授,武漢理工大學余軍副研究員作為答辯秘書與會。
楊金龍同學博士畢業論文的答辯題目是“多維硅酸亞鐵鋰納米材料的調控合成及儲鋰性能”,研究內容包括從零維到三維硅酸亞鐵鋰(Li2FeSiO4)及多維硅酸亞鐵鋰/碳復合功能材料的可控制備及儲鋰性能。首先,利用碳網絡框架的限域效應合成了平均直徑為18.7納米的硅酸亞鐵鋰納米晶,獲得了超過一個鋰離子的脫嵌,在10C倍率下1000次循環后比容量為90.0mAh/g,保持率為97.7%;分別獲得了等級梭形硅酸亞鐵鋰和納米棒狀/碳復合材料,后者獲得了接近于理論容量的儲鋰性能,而且具有非常優異的倍率性能和循環穩定性能;獲得了一種三維等級花形結構的硅酸亞鐵鋰/碳復合材料,同樣獲得了接近兩個鋰離子脫嵌的儲鋰性能及優異的倍率與循環穩定性能;論文還對多維硅酸亞鐵鋰材料及其與碳的復合材料的儲鋰機理進行了深入探討。最后,針對研究工作中的不足,對今后的工作提出了三個方面的展望。

徐峰同學順利通過博士學位論文答辯
2013年12月9日,我組徐峰同學進行了博士學位論文答辯。答辯委員會主席為武漢大學陳勝利教授,答辯成員包括華中科技大學王得麗教授,武漢理工大學麥立強教授、李昱教授和陽曉宇教授。
徐峰同學博士畢業論文的答辯研究內容主要包括氧化鈰(CeO2)的SO2/CO及混合催化劑的CO抗中毒性能。研究發現,隨著CeO2含量的增加,Pt表面對CO的催化氧化能力也隨著提高;而對SO2的催化氧化能力卻逐漸降低,含有2 wt% CeO2的催化劑表現最好;研究認為,CeO2所提供的氧對SO2和CO的氧化起了至關重要的作用。此外,不同形貌的納米氧化鈰晶體,也表現出不同的抗SO2/CO中毒性能。論文對混合催化劑的CO抗中毒性能及機理也進行深入探討。最后,針對研究工作中的不足,對今后的進一步工作進行了展望。

何大平同學順利通過博士學位論文答辯
2013年5月15日,我組何大平同學進行了博士學位論文答辯。答辯委員會主席為華中科技大學黃云輝教授,成員包括武漢大學陳勝利教授,華中科技大學王得麗教授,武漢理工大學潘牧教授和麥立強教授。
何大平同學就其研究工作——基于石墨烯(GNS)雙功能作用與石墨烯三明治結構質子交換膜燃料電池催化劑,向在場的各位評委、老師及同學們作了詳細介紹。他首先提出了GNS表面基團與石墨化程度對貴金屬Pt催化劑穩定性的雙功能作用,并確定了最佳的O/C原子比。在此基礎上,分別利用全氟磺酸(PFSA)修飾、GNS表面磺化接枝及N摻雜處理,制備得到了一系列具有較高催化活性及電化學穩定性的GNS載Pt催化劑。研究過程中還發現了PFSA修飾對提高Pt催化劑抗CO中毒性能及N摻雜對GNS載Pt催化劑氧化原反應(ORR)穩定性有著積極的影響。最后,針對GNS二維片層結構的堆疊和團聚問題,制備出了具有三明治結構的GNS/納米導電碳球復合材料,作為Pt催化劑載體,催化劑的催化活性與穩定性均得到較大提高。
