Themagneticfieldeffectsontheresistanceandluminescencepropertieshasbeenrecentlyobservedinavarietyoflightemittingdiodesof-conjugatedpolymersandsmallmoleculeswithnonmagneticelectrodes.1-11Organicmagnetoresistance(OMAR)posesasignificantscientificpuzzlesinceitistheonlyknownexampleoflargeroom-temperaturemagnetoresistanceinnonmagneticmaterialswiththeexceptionofvery-high-mobilitymaterials.4,12,13TheexactmechanismcausingOMARiscurrentlynotknownwithcertainty,therearesomemodelsthathaverecentlybeensuggestedaspossibleexplanationsofOMAR.
