Anovelclassofthin-filmnanofiltrationcomposite(TFNFC)membraneconsistingofapolypiperazineamide(PA)barrierlayer,apolyethersulfone(PES)nanofibrousmid-layersubstrate,andamelt-blownnon-wovensupportwassuccessfullyfabricated.ThePAbarrierlayerwasdevelopedbytheinterfacialpolymerization(IFP),inwhichpiperazine(PIP)andtrimesoylchloride(TMC)werechosenastheaqueousphasemonomerandorganicphasemonomerseparately.TheperformanceofTFNFCmembranewasoptimizedbystudyingthepreparationparameters,whichincludedtheIFPreactiontime,concentrationofmonomers(PIPandTMC).
