Overthelastdecade,theincreasingeconomiccompetitiongenerateshigherrequirementsinthesimulationofprocessingtechnologies.Thistendencyisespeciallytruefortheinjectionmoldingsimulationofcompositeparts,becausethesematerialsbecameworldwideanditsapplicationareasaregrowingrapidly.Forproperinjectionmoldingsimulationslargenumbersofaccurateinputparametersarerequiredforthecompositematerials.Oneofthemostimportantmaterialinformationisthepressure-specificvolume-temperature(pvT)relationship.TheconventionalpvTmeasurementsareexpensiveandtime-consuming.Furthermore,thesemethodsdonothaveagoodagreementwiththecircumstancesoftherealplasticprocessingmethods.Inthisstudyanewmethodwasdeveloped,wherewiththepvTpropertiesofthecompositematerialscanbedeterminedduringtheinjectionmoldingprocess.Asthedataaremeasuredunderrealinjectionmoldingprocess,theaccuracyofthesimulationscanbeimproved.Thefurtheradvantagesofthenewmethodaretheshortmeasurementtimeandthecostefficiency.
