Multi-walledcarbonnanotubes(MWNTs)/polyimide(PI)nanocompositeswerepreparedbymixingpolyamicacidsolutionwithmodifiedMWNTsfollowedbycastingfilmsandthermalimidization.Thermalgravimetricanalyzer(TGA)wasemployedtomeasurethedecompositionbehaviorofpolyimideanditsnanocompositefilms.ThermaldecompositionkineticsofpolyimideandthenanocompositefilmswereanalyzedusingFlynn-Wall-OzawaandKissingermethods.TheresultsshowedthatthedecompositiontemperatureandtheactivationenergyofpolyimideincreasewithincreasingloadofthemodifiedMWNTs.
