Poly(phenylenesulfide)(PPS)/nano-CeO2compositeswerepreparedbyDACAblendinginstrument.IsothermalcrystallizationbehaviorofPPScompositesat245℃,250℃,255℃and260℃wereinvestigatedbymeansofDSC.Asaresult,thecrystallizationtimeofcompositesisshorterthanthatofneatPPS.TheAvramiequationwasusedtoanalyzeDSCdata.ResultsshowedthatneatPPSishomogeneousnucleationatlowercrystallizationtemperature,whileitisheterogeneousnucleationathighercrystallizationtemperaturecontrarily.PPS/nano-CeO2compositesareheterogeneousnucleationatvariouscrystallizationtemperature,andnano-CeO2particlesplayaroleofnucleatingagent.
